Cataract
The progressive clouding of the crystalline lens of the eye is called
Waterfall .
The initial symptoms that the patient presents are: blurred and unclear vision
mainly in bright light which after a few years results in complete loss
of vision.
The most common cause of cataracts is the aging of the human body.
In rare cases, cataracts appear at the birth of the child.
the so-called Congenital Cataract or it can even occur after
long-term use of Cortisone, after trauma, or as a consequence
chronic diseases.
The only way to treat it is to surgically remove the cataract and insert a synthetic lens.
Today, with modern surgical methods available, cataracts can be operated on with great success in the early stages, long before they mature. Success rates are very high and vision restoration reaches the levels of a normal eye.
Surgical Technique


Using "Local anesthesia with drops" which is completely painless, the Cataract is removed with an ultrasound machine called Phacoemulsification .
